Colombia–Aotearoa: Shared Heritage

Immigration is a profound and challenging life transition. This welcoming session offers an open, informal space to share the powerful personal stories that shape our lives and reflect on how these journeys contribute to the shared civic heritage of Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland, adding new voices to the history of the city, strengthening its multicultural identity, and helping to define the traditions that future generations will inherit.

The gathering is accompanied by Colombian flavours, including traditional treats like natilla and buñuelos paired with rich coffee, honouring the tastes and memories that travel with participants across borders and continue to evolve within the diverse communities of Aotearoa.
