Integrating Toi Māori & Pūrākau across built-environments

This lecture examines approaches to weaving toi Māori (Māori arts) and pūrākau (Māori narratives) into the design and planning of built environments. Professor Johnson Witehira, Head of Te Rewa o Puanga – School of Music and Screen Arts at Massey University, draws on Māori cultural knowledge and practice to demonstrate how indigenous perspectives can reshape contemporary architecture and urban design.
