Breakfast discussion with Bishop Moxon
Archbishop Sir David Moxon, Archbishop Emeritus of the Anglican Church in New Zealand, shares insights from his 2013–2017 appointment as the Archbishop of Canterbury's Representative to the Holy See and Director of the Anglican Centre in Rome. During this period he fostered Anglican-Roman Catholic relations while addressing pressing contemporary challenges including modern slavery, human trafficking, and the care of refugees.
From Rome, Moxon witnessed major international shifts—Russia's annexation of Crimea in 2014 and Britain's 2016 Brexit referendum—and observed the social crises facing both the Church and Western societies across the Mediterranean region. He remains active in social and cultural issues for the Anglican Church and currently serves on multiple trusts focused on ecological recovery, restorative justice, and international aid.
