Screening within Endgrained: Speaking in Stone
This screening presents 'Speaking in Stone,' a short film commissioned following the passing of sculptor John Edgar ONZM. Directed by Greg Wood with music by Peter Hobbs, the 19-minute film responds to the vast repository of John Edgar’s creative life found in his West Auckland studio. The film captures the essence of the artist using sounds and instruments created from tools and sounds recorded at the sculpture workshop.
