AKL Book Launch: Meditations of a Landscape Architect by David Irwin
David Irwin, founding principal of Isthmus Group, launches his new book Meditations of a Landscape Architect, published by Six Point Press in association with Isthmus. The collection brings together essays and photographs exploring what matters in design and everyday life—what we choose to change and what might be better left alone.
Drawing on four decades of landscape architecture practice, Irwin reflects on his involvement in some of Aotearoa New Zealand's most significant urban design and landscape projects. The book documents an ongoing inquiry into design leadership, public spaces, coastal landscapes, and the relationship between designed and natural environments.
Doors open at 5:30pm with drinks; speeches begin at 6pm. Copies available for purchase.
